Comparison of Methods for Automated Identification of Wild Turkey Gobbles

We used songmeters to collect >100,000 hours of sound, and then developed a convolutional neural network to identify turkey gobbles in the dataset.  Basically, we used machine learning to figure out a way to more efficiently process the mounds of auditory data songmeters generate, and developed a reliable way to tease out turkey gobbles from these data sets.
